Electronic Exams
Electronic exams for Grades 1- 4 water treatment, water
distribution and wastewater treatment and Grade I Lagoon are now
available in the field offices by appointment only.
Electronic Application Process
- Fill out an exam application
- Request one of the exam sites: Manchester, Mason City,
Spencer, Atlantic, Des Moines or Washington
- Send the exam application and $30 exam fee as directed on
application
- When applicant eligibility has been approved, applicant
will be contacted by a staff member to make an exam
appointment in the location requested.
Paper Exam
- Submit an exam application and exam fee
- Request one of the exam dates from the exam schedule
- Receive an eligibility letter prior to exam
- Photo ID and eligibility letter required at the exam site
- All exams begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. unless otherwise
stated
- Calculators and pencils will be provided
If you have not received an eligibility letter 5 to 7 days
prior to your desired exam date please contact the program.
